DESCRIPTION:Los Banos/Panoche Valley\nSaturday/Sunday\, February 25-26\n\nBoth sites are good for wintering waders\, shorebirds\, waterfowl and a few raptors.\nNOTE: The planned itinerary for this trip has been impacted by our recent heavy rains. Registration will not open until two weeks before\, when we may have a better handle on conditions. \nHike rating: 1-Easy\nElevation change: N/A\nLeaders: Hugh Harvey\, Beth Branthaver\nMeet: The McDonald’s in Gustine\, at 8AM \nDirections: Drive south on I-5 to Hwy 140\, Exit 418. Turn left and drive 3-1/2 miles to the intersection with Hwy 33. Turn left\, drive into Gustine and look for the restaurant and Chevron station on the left. Lodging in Los Banos includes Best Western Executive Inn 209-827-0954\, Los Banos Days Inn 209-826-9690\, Vagabond Inn Executive Los Banos 209-427-4677. \nThis field trip is limited to 10 participants.
