This science-based course offered by the Golden Gate Audubon Society is for curious adult learners who have some birding experience. The focus is on avian evolution – from the modern theory of evolution, the evolutionary processes that have resulted in over 10,000 species of birds today, and geological events that have been much of the cause of today’s avian multitude.
