The Pileated Woodpecker is the American Birding Association’s 2021 Bird of the Year . In its honor, Sequoia Audubon Society of San Mateo county, with its partners MROSD and San Mateo County Parks, are featuring woodpeckers in the lead up to the Great Backyard Bird Count.
