Every year, nearly 1 Billion birds are killed by collisions with glass. The Bay Area has led the nation in enacting bird-friendly ordinances that will help stop this conservation crisis. Learn how birds see, and what you can do to stop bird collisions in your community and at your home.

Glenn Phillips, Golden Gate Bird Alliance’s Executive Director, holds master’s degrees in Urban Sustainability and Science Education from the City University of New York and is a co-author of the Bird Friendly Building Guide published by the American Bird Conservancy. He has worked on Bird-safe Buildings since 2007.
