MDAS 2021 Photo Contest Winners

Here are the winners and runners-up of the Second Annual Mt. Diablo Audubon Photography Contest! We received even more entries this year than last: over 133 photos submitted by 38 talented MDAS members in eight categories—including two new ones this year. The entries were so terrific that our special guest judges Bob Lewis of Golden Gate Audubon, and Bill Pelletier and Kitty O’Neil of Santa Clara Valley Audubon had their work cut out for them in this blind judging. You can visit Bob’s website HERE. and Bill’s and Kitty’s and Facebook page HERE.

There were many more marvelous entries that deserve acclaim, and we hope to highlight them in future editions of The Quail. First-place winners received gift cards for Wild Birds Unlimited, Pleasant Hill.

Feel free to share—and special thanks to MDAS Education Chair Krista Vossekuil for organizing the submissions and serving as contest administrator.
